American singer Lady Gaga has become a mother for the first time
The 40-year-old pop star Lady Gaga (real name Stefani Germanotta) has experienced the joy of motherhood. According to publications, this is the first child for the singer and her partner, 42-year-old businessman Michael Polansky.
Paparazzi managed to photograph the couple walking with the newborn baby in Northern California. For now, neither the baby's name nor the date of birth has been disclosed.
Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky began dating in 2019 and got engaged in April 2024.
Gaga has spoken about her desire to become a mother several times before.
"I want to do so many more things. All opportunities are open for this. But I really want to be a mother. I hope this will be my next starring role," she said in 2025 on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert."
"Michael and I have talked a lot about allowing our children to grow up as independent individuals. This is very important for children coming into this world. Children are told how to think, what to believe, what to eat... But I want my children to discover who they are on their own," the pop star shared her thoughts in an interview with Elle publication last year.
Lady Gaga has also thought about how her future child would react to her fame.
"I just tried with all my might, I strove to stay true to myself on this path. My child might one day ask me: 'Mom, why do you do this? I saw a funny video of you dressed weirdly.' This will definitely happen. You know, I think it would be completely natural to ask them then: 'What do you think about it yourself?'" she said.
