AI, bioprinting, and robotics. The results of the startup summit, which brought together entrepreneurs from 22 countries, have been announced in Moscow

AI, Bioprinting, and Robotics. Moscow Concludes Startup Summit Gathering Entrepreneurs from 22 Countries
The second Moscow Startup Summit, dedicated to technological entrepreneurship and open innovation, has concluded in Moscow. During the summit, technological entrepreneurs, investors, representatives of major businesses, the scientific community, and relevant government departments from Russia and 21 other countries discussed the development of startups, the implementation of breakthrough technologies, and their impact on industry, the urban environment, productivity, and quality of life. Online broadcasts of the summit gathered 50 million views.
The summit took place on September 29 and 30 at the "SberCity" venue on the campus of "School 21".
More than 150 Russian and foreign speakers performed in the business program. In addition to discussions, it included pitch sessions, an exhibition of more than 100 startups, and the presentation of a technology award. The summit was organized by the Government of Moscow and Sber.
One of the main events of the second Moscow Startup Summit was the final of the seventh wave of the Sber500 international accelerator. More than 1.8 thousand applications from 52 countries were received to participate in the accelerator, and 25 teams from Russia, India, and South Korea were selected for the final program.
As part of the Sber500 demo day, the finalists demonstrated their developments to investors, experts, and representatives of major corporations. The startups worked in five areas: medicine and biotechnology, education and creative industries, agriculture and food, construction and urbanism, smart devices and robotics.
About 85% of the finalists apply artificial intelligence, including generative models, and 20 teams belong to deep-tech startups. Among the developments presented at the summit are 3D bioprinting of collagen membranes, robotic testing of electronics, an AI platform for breeding new plant varieties, and five-axis 3D printing of composite parts.
Herman Gref, President and Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank, stated that Sber is ready to provide the teams that received funding with access to laboratories and construction sites to test their technologies.
For the first time at the Sber500 demo day within the Moscow Startup Summit, the "Neurocode" neuroheadset, developed by one of the accelerator participants, was used. The device recorded the brain activity of the jury members and showed how their attention and interest changed during the pitches.
Participants of the Moscow Startup Summit's startup exhibition also shared their developments. Teams from Russia, India, and South Korea demonstrated practical solutions for key sectors of the economy, showing the possibilities of applying artificial intelligence and engineering technologies.
South Korean startup IRVIS presented an automatic electronics inspection system for manufacturing. A camera and artificial intelligence recognize connectors and boards, and the program recalculates the robot's trajectory if the product or tooling has shifted. The solution is designed for electronics manufacturers and testing laboratories.
The company Colltech demonstrated a technology for printing collagen membranes on a domestic bioprinter to restore the eardrum, as well as other soft and cartilaginous tissues. The membrane serves as a biocompatible scaffold on which tissue is restored. The development is aimed at ENT surgeons, hospitals, and clinics.
Another project is the "Plastilin" platform, which predicts a new variety's yield, disease and climate resistance, and suitability for a specific region before it is bred. The system combines field data and plant genome information, selecting parental lines and genetic markers. The solution is designed for agricultural holdings, seed companies, breeding centers, and institutes.
The technology award, established by the Government of Moscow and Sber, was also held as part of the Moscow Startup Summit. This year, about two thousand applications were received from 76 regions of Russia — 15% more than in 2025. The most popular category was "Best AI Solution," accounting for almost 70% of all projects.
A novelty of this year was the presentation of a special prize for the "Best Case of GigaAgent Implementation." The award went to the creators of the digital dictionary of the Ingush language.
