**Agrobank launches $6.1 million AgroVentures Fund at ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026**

Agrobank today unveiled AgroVentures, a $6.1 million venture fund created within the bank under Presidential Decree dated 13.03.2026. The announcement was made at ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026, the country’s largest technology event, held September 22–25 at CAEx in Tashkent. With this move, Agrobank becomes one of the first banks in Uzbekistan to operate its own venture investment vehicle.

AgroVentures intends to invest in 60–75 companies and generate more than 1,000 direct and indirect jobs. The fund is targeting a 2.5x–3x return on invested capital, an annual IRR above 25%, and 8–12 exits with a projected combined value of $15–18 million.

Funding will be directed toward early- and growth-stage startups, private equity in high-growth companies, Agrobank’s own digital and fintech initiatives, and university research and IP. Ticket sizes will range from $25,000 to $500,000. The biggest sector priorities are AgriTech and AI/ML, followed by FinTech, with additional investment planned in retail, HealthTech, EdTech, GreenTech, logistics, and deep tech.

As its first initiative, AgroVentures is launching the AgroBank Corporate Accelerator with AI Station. The 12-week program will choose up to 20 startups to conduct live pilots with Agrobank departments and SME clients, backed by international masterclasses, regional workshops, weekly mentoring, and a final Demo Day. There is no fee, and the program takes no equity or revenue share. Outstanding teams may receive a partnership or white-label agreement with Agrobank, or follow-on investment from AgroVentures. The program is open to startups from any sector that have a working MVP and early traction; company registration is not required. Applications are open until October 23, 2026, at accelerator.aisinnovation.com.

"Agrobank has financed Uzbekistan's farmers and entrepreneurs for decades. With AgroVentures, we are also investing in the technology that will shape how they work," said Kakhorov Erkin, Chairman of the Management Board, Agrobank. "We want the best founders in the country to see Agrobank as a partner, an investor, and their first large customer."

**About AgroVentures:** AgroVentures LLC is a venture fund established within Agrobank to build a modern venture and private-investment ecosystem in Uzbekistan, with a focus on technology across the agro-industrial value chain.
