ADM Global to start producing hybrid and electric vehicles in Uzbekistan

ADM Global will start producing hybrid and electric vehicles of Changan, Chery, and Haval brands. The enterprise signed an agreement with South Korea's DK&G firm for the supply of industrial equipment for CKD production. Up to $100 million will be invested in the construction.

ADM Global to launch production of hybrid and electric vehicles in Uzbekistan

ADM Jizzakh and South Korea’s DK&G company signed an agreement on supplying industrial equipment for CKD production (assembly from smaller components) of hybrid and electric vehicles.

The construction of a new production complex has begun on the territory of the ADM Jizzakh auto plant. It is planned to produce hybrid and electric versions of the Changan brand, primarily the UNI-E model, as well as Chery and Haval vehicles there.

Production using CKD technology covers the full process — from body welding and painting to final assembly and quality control of the finished vehicle. Currently, Kia internal combustion engine vehicles are produced at ADM Jizzakh based on this exact technology.

The key aspect of the new complex is the capability to produce vehicles of different brands on a single production line. The company emphasizes that this technological solution will be implemented as part of joint engineering work between ADM Jizzakh and DK&G specialists. Products will be directed both to the domestic market of Uzbekistan and for export.

As part of the development of the new energy vehicle (NEV) direction, ADM Global plans to introduce several hybrid and electric vehicle models with a high level of production localization to the Uzbekistan market.

The company collaborates with brands such as Kia, Chery, Haval, Tank, Changan, Hyundai Truck & Bus, and has more than 115 dealership centers across Uzbekistan.
