About 200 Fly Khiva passengers have been unable to fly from Termez to Medina for over a day.

The rescheduling of a Fly Khiva charter flight from Termez to Medina, originally scheduled for the night of August 12-13, has left approximately 200 passengers waiting for their flight for over 24 hours.

According to the press service of Uzbekistan Airports, the flight was rescheduled twice. Initially, the flight was scheduled for the night of August 12-13, then the airline changed the departure time to the night of August 13-14.

A total of 189 passengers are awaiting their flight to Medina. Due to the carrier's schedule changes, they were checked in for a charter flight to Tashkent, scheduled to depart Termez at 9:00 AM. However, this flight was also canceled due to technical issues.

Termez Airport administration reported that all services continue to operate and provide passengers with necessary assistance within their authority.

Passengers are advised to confirm the current departure time and transportation procedures with Fly Khiva representatives or on its official website.

It was previously reported that a Centrum Air passenger jet was struck by lightning while operating a scheduled flight from Tashkent to Guangzhou. To ensure flight safety, the damaged aircraft was taken out of service and placed in a maintenance hangar, delaying its return flight to Tashkent by nearly two days.
