Abdukodir Khusanov set to extend Manchester City contract until 2031

Uzbekistan international Abdukodir Husanov is set to extend his contract with Manchester City until 2031, according to The Athletic. Belgium winger Jérémy Doku is also expected to sign a new deal running through the same year.

Abdukodir Khusanov is reportedly poised to finalize a contract extension with Manchester City, committing him to the club until 2031. A recent report indicates that both Khusanov and another player have accepted the terms offered by the Premier League champions.

Khusanov initially joined Manchester City in January 2025, making the move from French side Lens. His original agreement was a four-and-a-half-year deal, which was set to expire at the close of 2029. The 21-year-old defender featured in 21 Premier League matches for City last season, establishing himself as a consistent option within the squad.

Meanwhile, Doku, who has been part of Manchester City since 2023, participated in 30 Premier League fixtures during the previous season, contributing five goals and providing five assists.
