Solikha Bakhodirova, a weightlifter from Uzbekistan, brought home her country's first medal at the ongoing Asian Junior and Youth Weightlifting Championships. She took third place in the 45 kg weight class, according to the Uzbekistan Weightlifting Federation.
Competing in the junior category, Bakhodirova successfully lifted 64 kg in the snatch, securing her a bronze medal at the continental championships.
This medal was the first for the Uzbek team at the current Asian Junior and Youth Weightlifting Championships.
