A welcoming ceremony was held at the Kuksaroy residence in Tashkent on the occasion of the arrival of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on a state visit to Uzbekistan.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly welcomed the high-ranking guest and invited him to the podium.

The flags of the two countries fluttered during the ceremony, a guard of honor was lined up. The national anthems of Uzbekistan and India were played.

The leaders walked along the guard of honor and greeted members of the official delegations. After a general photo session, high-level negotiations began.
