Over a ton of gasoline was discovered in the Mirabad district of Tashkent, which a local resident kept in the yard of a private house and in utility rooms. The fuel was removed to a safe location, and the owner was held accountable.

The violation was uncovered by employees of the district emergency situations department during preventive measures. During the inspection, specialists established that the man was storing a significant volume of flammable liquid on the premises of his home.

Following the discovery of the dangerous stockpile, emergency service personnel took measures to remove the gasoline and ensure its safe storage. Measures were taken against the owner in accordance with the law.

The Main Department of Emergency Situations emphasized that storing large volumes of gasoline and other flammable substances in residential buildings poses a serious threat. In the event of a fire, flames can spread rapidly, creating a hazard not only for the residents of the house, but also for people nearby.

As an example, specialists recalled a fire in a private house in the Beltepa residential area of the Shaykhantakhur district. Such incidents show the consequences that non-compliance with fire safety rules can lead to.

The Main Department of Emergency Situations urges residents not to store gasoline and other flammable substances in residential premises and adjacent territories, and to strictly observe fire safety requirements.
