A shortage of medical equipment and medicines was discovered in schools in the Andijan region

In a number of schools in the Andijan region, medical offices turned out to be insufficiently provided with equipment and medicines. In addition, shortcomings were identified in carrying out preventive measures and in-depth medical examinations of students. This was reported by the press service of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

A working group led by Senator Gulnora Marufova inspected schools in Andijan and four districts of the region. During the study, specialists assessed the conditions for providing first aid and compliance with sanitary requirements.

Some schools lack modern devices for measuring children's physical parameters, refrigerators, and sterilizers. Certain medical offices are also inadequately supplied with first-aid medications.

They are aimed at eliminating the identified deficiencies, improving the equipment of school medical offices, and enhancing the quality of medical examinations of students.
