A selection process has been announced for citizens of Uzbekistan to work in the shipbuilding industry in Korea
For Uzbeks wishing to work in Korea, a selection process has been announced in the field of shipbuilding in cooperation with HD Hyundai Heavy Industries. Candidates will be trained in Fergana from November 16 to February 5. The minimum monthly salary is $1,605. Documents will be accepted until October 23.

A new selection process aimed at training qualified personnel in the shipbuilding sector has been announced for citizens of Uzbekistan wishing to work in Korea under the E-9 visa. This selection is being organized in cooperation with the Migration Agency and South Korea's HD Hyundai Heavy Industries.
Candidates selected within the framework of the competition will study in special training courses at the KOICA center in the city of Fergana. Tuition and accommodation expenses will be covered by the Migration Agency.
It is noted that the minimum monthly salary for candidates working in Korea is 2.156 million won, which is approximately 1,605 dollars.
Candidates who meet the following requirements can participate in the selection:
Candidates must be born after January 1, 1992, and before December 31, 2006.
Documents will be accepted from October 6 to 23 at the regional branches of the Migration Agency.
The list of candidates whose documents are approved will be announced on October 28. Tests and interviews will be conducted from November 2 to 6, and the list of those admitted to study will be announced on November 11.
Training courses will last from November 16, 2026, to February 5, 2027. The final evaluation will take place on February 10, 2027.

Before the selection, candidates can familiarize themselves with the sample questions that may be asked during the test and interview.
The Migration Agency also announced that individuals who have previously committed offenses in South Korea, been fined, worked illegally, or had their visa rejected due to forged documents cannot participate in the selection.
According to the agency, candidates who do not meet the established minimum evaluation criteria will be excluded from the project by HD Hyundai.
