A new presidential decree has been adopted

Starting from October 1, 2026, loans through commercial banks to provide working capital for electrical industry enterprises

A new presidential resolution has been approved

The development of the electrical engineering industry will be raised to a new level.

According to the resolution, starting from October 1, 2026, for enterprises in the electrical engineering industry:

- in order to provide working capital, loans will be allocated through commercial banks under the following conditions:

- at the expense of the funds of the "Trade Development Company" Joint-Stock Company (Company) for a period of up to 2 years, with a 3-month grace period, at an annual rate of 6 percent (of which 2 percent is the bank margin) in an amount of no more than 5 million USD for a single entrepreneur;

- a guarantee will be provided by the "National Business Guarantee Company" JSC for 50 percent of the loan, but not exceeding the equivalent of 20 billion soums, while the remaining part will be covered by the enterprise with liquid property, an insurance policy, an export contract (based on the right of claim to future cash receipts) and/or other types of collateral;

- the following procedure for settlements when purchasing copper raw materials through exchange trading will be introduced:

At the expense of the undisbursed part of the funds allocated in accordance with paragraph 6 of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-304 dated October 15, 2025, the Company will directly allocate funds in the amount of 40 million USD to "Uzpromexport" JSC;

- when purchasing copper raw materials in exchange trading, 25 percent of the payment will be made by the enterprise, and the remaining 75 percent will be paid by "Uzpromexport" JSC within 3 days. In this regard, the debt of a single business entity to "Uzpromexport" JSC shall not exceed 3 million USD;

- enterprises will provide an insurance policy to secure their obligations to "Uzpromexport" JSC;

- the 75 percent payment made by "Uzpromexport" JSC will be repaid by the enterprises within 90 days. In this case, interest will be calculated at an annual rate of 6 percent for each day of the deferred payment.
