An initiative to preserve musical heritage has been launched in Uzbekistan.

The Foundation for the Development of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan, in partnership with the UZCARD payment system and iz, presented the Uzbekistan Music Heritage project. Its goal is to preserve and promote the country's rich musical heritage.

As part of the project's launch, iz presented the first vinyl release, "Oq Qayin" by Sherali Juraev. This was reported by the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan.

The project aims to combine cultural initiatives and modern technologies to preserve and disseminate iconic works of Uzbek music.

Sherali Juraev's "Oq Qayin" was the first vinyl release within the framework of Uzbekistan Music Heritage. Its presentation coincided with the launch of the entire project.

The organizers expressed their gratitude to Sherali Juraev's family for their trust and support of this initiative.
