A fire broke out at the oil depot in Qorovulbozor
Three people were injured as a result of a fire that occurred at an oil storage depot belonging to the Bukhara Oil Refinery.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, on September 15 at 10:30, a report was received by the Emergency Situations Department from the 112 system stating that a fire had broken out in one of the tanks (reservoirs) at the Qorovulbozor oil products storage depot, located in the "Choʻlquvar" neighborhood citizens' gathering (MFY) area of the Qorovulbozor district, Bukhara region.
According to the report, rescue units immediately arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire at 11:18. 14 rescue units were involved in extinguishing the fire.
According to preliminary data, a fuel tank (reservoir) at the depot was damaged by the fire. As a result of the fire, 3 people sustained burn injuries of varying severity and were hospitalized at the Qorakoʻl district medical association.
Currently, the cause of the fire and the damage are being determined.
The leadership of the regional Emergency Situations Department, Internal Affairs Department, Health Department, and partner services have arrived at the scene.
