A farewell ceremony was held for a deceased EMERCOM rescuer in the Samarkand region.

The Samarkand region paid tribute to Captain Boburmirzo Pardayev, commander of the Special Rescue Battalion of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who died tragically in the line of duty during a fire in Tashkent.

His family, friends, ministry officials, and numerous colleagues attended the funeral ceremony.

The incident occurred on the night of August 15 in the Uchtepa district of the capital, when a residential building caught fire. Ministry of Emergency Situations rescuers successfully evacuated all residents, but Boburmirzo Pardayev died during the rescue operation.
