According to the presidential decree, a moratorium on any inspections of the activities of small businesses will be declared for a period of 3 years, with some exceptions.

A three-year moratorium on inspections of small business entities has been introduced.

In accordance with the presidential decree "On measures to implement the tasks set out in the VI open dialogue of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with entrepreneurs", adopted on August 27, a moratorium on any inspections of small business entities has been declared for a period of 3 years.

This moratorium does not apply to the following inspections:

* Inspections within the framework of a criminal case;

* Inspections related to the study of the impact on human health;

* Inspections for compliance with labor legislation;

* Inspections based on citizens' appeals;

* Inspections related to VAT reimbursement (refund);

* Inspections conducted in connection with the liquidation of a business entity.

Inspections of small business entities during the moratorium period are considered illegal. Persons who violate this rule will be held liable in accordance with the established procedure.

The "Effective Supervision" event will be held by the Representative for the Protection of the Rights and Legal Interests of Business Entities under the President (Business Ombudsman). As part of this event:

* The inspection materials of the supervisory authorities for the last 3 years will be fully studied on-site.

* Based on the results of the study, appropriate measures will be taken by the supervisory authorities within the scope of their powers regarding violations of the law.

* In cases where the inspection procedure has been violated and illegal inspections have been detected, measures will be taken to restore the violated rights of the business entities whose activities have been inspected.
