The spouse of a man who almost got sucked out of a cabin window during a Ryanair flight has shared her fear regarding the event. "He was out for maybe two or three minutes," she recounted, adding, "the lady sitting next to him and I tried to pull him back inside."

Flight tracking data indicates that the aircraft was airborne for approximately 10 minutes when it suddenly dropped 9,000 feet (2,700 meters), with passengers reporting to local media that they heard "some kind of explosion."

A hospital official in Greece confirmed that a 61-year-old Serbian man was treated for friction burns.

In a statement, Ryanair mentioned that its flight on Friday morning from Thessaloniki, Greece, to Memmingen, Germany, returned "shortly after take-off when a passenger window dislodged in flight."
