Uzhydromet issues scorching weather forecast for July 31

Uzhydromet has released its weather outlook for Friday, July 31, predicting sweltering conditions.

In Tashkent, the forecast indicates mostly clear skies with no rain. An easterly wind will blow at 3–8 meters per second. Overnight temperatures are expected to be between 23°C and 25°C, climbing to 37–39°C by day.

The Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm province can anticipate partly cloudy and dry weather. Easterly winds will reach 7–12 meters per second, with gusts possibly hitting 13–18 meters per second, potentially causing localized dust storms. Temperatures will range from 22°C to 27°C at night, rising to 37–42°C during daylight hours.

Bukhara and Navoiy provinces will experience partly cloudy skies with no precipitation. Easterly winds are predicted at 7–12 meters per second, with gusts up to 13–18 meters per second, and localized dust storms are possible. Nighttime temperatures will be 22–27°C, though some desert areas could remain as warm as 30–33°C, before daytime highs reach 38–43°C.

Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand provinces are expected to be partly cloudy and dry, with easterly winds at 7–12 meters per second. Temperatures are forecast to be 22–27°C at night and 36–41°C during the day.

Kashkadarya and Surkhndarya provinces will remain partly cloudy and dry. Easterly winds will blow at 7–12 meters per second, with gusts up to 13–18 meters per second, and localized dust storms are anticipated in certain areas. Nighttime temperatures will be between 23°C and 28°C, with daytime highs reaching 38–43°C.

Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana provinces will see partly cloudy, dry conditions with easterly winds at 5–10 meters per second. Temperatures will be 20–25°C at night and climb to 36–41°C during the day.

For the country's foothills and mountainous regions, partly cloudy to occasionally shifting skies are expected, but no rain is forecast. Easterly winds will blow at 7–12 meters per second, with gusts potentially increasing to 13–18 meters per second. Temperatures will be cooler, ranging from 15°C to 20°C at night and 28–33°C during the day.

Uzhydromet had previously predicted unseasonably hot weather for the last week of July. The beginning of August is expected to bring intensely hot and dry conditions nationwide, with temperatures gradually easing toward the end of the month.
