Uzbekistan’s Real Estate Market Ends the First Half of the Year with Stable Growth
The number of real estate purchase and sale transactions in the first half of the year increased by more than a quarter compared with the same period last year.

Uzbekistan's real estate market concluded the first half of 2026 with consistent expansion, as reported by the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR), which continuously monitors the nation's real estate sector.
Real estate market activity saw a notable uptick in 2026. After experiencing a correction in April and May, following a peak in March, the volume of transactions rebounded in June. This surge surpassed the levels recorded in June 2025 by 20.4% and June 2024 by 24.9%.
**Real Estate Market Activity in June 2026**
In June of this year, the total number of real estate purchase and sale transactions surpassed 25,000, marking a 23% increase from the preceding month. This heightened activity was mirrored by a rise in transaction volumes across all regions of Uzbekistan.
**Regional Overview**
Compared to May of this year, Bukhara (50.1%), Navoi (41.5%), and Samarkand (31.8%) regions registered the most significant growth rates. Andijan (17.9%), Tashkent (12.2%), and Khorezm (0.9%) regions experienced more modest growth.
On a year-over-year basis, the highest growth rates were observed in the city of Tashkent (35.7%), Syrdarya (26.9%), and Navoi (26.3%) regions, along with the Republic of Karakalpakstan (23.3%). Jizzakh (5.7%), Fergana (3.6%), and Tashkent (3.3%) regions showed more moderate increases.
The city of Tashkent accounted for nearly one-third of all sales in June, with 7,800 transactions, representing 30.8% of the total.
**Real Estate Market Activity in the First Half of 2026**
During the first half of 2026, the cumulative number of real estate purchase and sale transactions exceeded 171,000. This represents a 25.3% increase compared to the same period last year, translating to an absolute increase of 34,500 transactions.
**Regional Breakdown**
Throughout the review period, all regions of the country recorded an increase in real estate purchase and sale transactions. Syrdarya region (36.4%), the city of Tashkent (34.9%), and Navoi region (30%) exhibited the highest growth rates. Khorezm (16.7%), Bukhara (15.4%), and Fergana (12.1%) regions experienced more moderate growth.
