Uzbekistan Records 32 Businesses per 1,000 Residents

Uzbekistan recorded 32 business entities per 1,000 residents as of 1 July 2026, with Tashkent leading at 50 per 1,000, according to official statistics.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – Uzbekistan's National Statistics Committee reported that as of July 1, 2026, the nation had 32 businesses for every 1,000 inhabitants.

Tashkent city led the country with the highest concentration, registering 50 businesses per 1,000 people. The Khorezm region followed with 46, then the Sirdaryo region with 41, and the Navoiy region with 38.

Both the Jizzakh and Bukhara regions recorded 35 businesses per 1,000 residents. The Tashkent region had 33, while the Andijan region showed 32.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the figure was 30 businesses per 1,000 residents. The Ferghana and Samarkand regions each had 27, and the Kashkadarya and Namangan regions both registered 26.

The Surkhandarya region reported the lowest density, with 24 businesses per 1,000 residents.
