Uzbekistan Imports US$122,900 Worth of Ornamental Fish

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – From January to May 2026, Uzbekistan brought in live ornamental fish valued at US$122,900, as reported by the National Committee on Statistics. This figure represents a 44.2% increase in import value compared to the corresponding period in 2025.

Thailand emerged as the primary source for these imports, supplying US$86,400 worth of ornamental fish. Indonesia followed with US$18,700 in imports, and India contributed US$8,200. Other notable suppliers included Malaysia, with imports totaling US$5,100; China, at US$3,400; and Kenya, providing US$1,200 worth of ornamental fish.
