Uzbekistan and Russian Institute Partner on Social Facility Nutrition

Uzbekistan's National Social Protection Agency and the Russian Institute of Sectoral Nutrition have formalized a partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation. This agreement focuses on enhancing the healthy nutrition system within Uzbekistan's social protection facilities.

Discussions during the meeting between the two entities covered several key areas: the current state of food service in social care institutions, the integration of contemporary methods, strengthening the regulatory and methodological framework, professional development for specialists, and broadening the application of leading international practices.

The memorandum outlines collaborative efforts to create up-to-date standards and methodological guidelines for catering services in social care settings. Additionally, the partnership will address refining food procurement and delivery systems, implementing modern technologies, and providing training and advanced education for specialists in the field, with the involvement of international experts.

These initiatives are anticipated to elevate the quality of food and the overall standard of social services offered to individuals residing in institutions managed by the National Social Protection Agency.
