Uzbekistan and Japan to Expand Pharmaceutical Cooperation

Uzbekistan and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) are set to broaden their collaboration in the medical and pharmaceutical fields. This development emerged from a meeting held at Uzbekistan's Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry in Tashkent.

During the discussion, Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Uzbek Agency, briefed JICA representatives on the ongoing reforms within Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical sector. He highlighted efforts to boost local production, attract foreign investment, foster innovation, and enhance international partnerships.
