Uzbek Consulate Helps Stroke Patient Return from Almaty
The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Almaty assisted an Uzbek citizen who suffered a stroke while working in Kazakhstan to return home safely.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – An Uzbek national who experienced a stroke while employed in Almaty, Kazakhstan, has been successfully repatriated to Uzbekistan, thanks to the intervention of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan, as reported by Dunyo News Agency.
Upon receiving an urgent request concerning her critical health, the diplomatic mission extended essential consular and logistical assistance. This included issuing a certificate for her return to Uzbekistan and facilitating the purchase of an airline ticket for the Almaty–Tashkent flight.
Working in conjunction with Kazakhstan's relevant law enforcement and migration agencies, the Consulate General ensured her lawful departure from the country, adhering to all established protocols.
The Consulate General also extended its appreciation to a Kazakh citizen who generously provided extensive, pro bono support to the Uzbek national. This assistance encompassed temporary accommodation, clothing, food, help with document processing, and other social and domestic necessities.
The diplomatic mission affirmed its ongoing commitment to safeguarding the rights and legitimate interests of Uzbek citizens residing abroad, emphasizing its dedication to delivering timely assistance to compatriots facing challenging circumstances.
