Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Throughout June 2026, the Banking Supervision Committee of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan convened for seven meetings, addressing a total of 34 distinct matters and subsequently issuing pertinent resolutions.
A significant portion of the agenda, encompassing 22 issues, was dedicated to registration and licensing procedures. The committee formally registered modifications to the charters of six credit institutions, evaluated three applications for qualification certificates for auditors specializing in bank audits, reviewed the registration status of microfinance organizations, and processed licensing requests from payment organizations in four separate instances. Furthermore, it granted five approvals for the acquisition of equity stakes in credit institutions and endorsed four nominations for positions on supervisory boards, management boards of commercial banks, and other
