**Fatal Collision in Mordovia Claims Lives of Two Uzbek Nationals**
A tragic traffic accident in Russia's Republic of Mordovia has resulted in the deaths of two Uzbek citizens and injuries to three others. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan has confirmed it is overseeing the situation.
The incident took place on August 6th, specifically at the 180-kilometer mark of the M-5 Ural federal highway, close to the village of Blokhino in the Lyambir district. The collision involved a MAZ truck and a Spark passenger vehicle displaying Uzbek state registration plates.
The two Uzbek citizens who perished in the crash were identified as A. A. P., born in 1996, and B. Sh. A., born in 1997. Three additional Uzbek nationals—A. R. P., born in 2002; B. M. A., born in 1989; and A. M. P., born in 2006—sustained various injuries and were transported to the Central Clinical Hospital of Mordovia.
The Consulate General is actively collaborating with the relevant authorities and maintaining close watch over developments.
The Migration Agency is currently arranging for the repatriation of the deceased individuals' remains to Uzbekistan, following the completion of forensic medical examinations and other requisite procedures.
The injured parties received essential medical treatment and have since been discharged from the hospital after their recovery.
