A 22-year-old man in Tashkent's Yashnabad District has been sentenced to 15 days of administrative detention and ordered to pay a fine equivalent to five basic calculation units. The charges stem from multiple administrative offenses, including sexually inappropriate behavior directed at an elderly woman.
Court documents indicate the incident took place around 5:30 AM on August 4, 2026, in the vicinity of Dustlik Park. The court determined that the man, who was intoxicated and consuming alcohol in a public area, engaged in sexually inappropriate acts toward the elderly woman.
Following the incident, he attempted to escape but was apprehended by members of the public and subsequently handed over to law enforcement. The court ruling also noted his refusal to comply with lawful instructions given by police officers.
During the court proceedings, the defendant confessed to his guilt, expressed regret, acknowledged the repercussions of his actions, and requested a more lenient sentence.
After reviewing all evidence, including party statements, the administrative report, official records, and other pertinent information, the court concluded that the man's guilt was unequivocally established.
