Tajikistan to host International Textile Forum 2026

Dushanbe is set to host the International Textile Forum Tajikistan 2026 on September 23, an event designed to convene industry leaders, financial backers, and government officials to explore the growth of Tajikistan's textile industry and potential investment avenues.

As reported by Khovar, the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan is orchestrating the forum with backing from the Tajikistani Government, in collaboration with the International Federation of Textile Manufacturers and other global entities.

This gathering is anticipated to foster discussions among textile industry representatives, international investors, and government authorities.

Key themes for the forum include advancing Tajikistan's textile sector, drawing in foreign capital, exchanging global insights, and showcasing the nation's manufacturing capabilities.

Attendees will delve into prospects for establishing comprehensive textile projects, encompassing every stage from raw cotton processing to the creation of finished textile goods.

The organizers highlighted that these initiatives benefit from Tajikistan's robust energy sector, which generates roughly 98% of its electricity from renewable hydropower, alongside attractive long-term tax incentives for investors.

The forum aims to stimulate investment in the textile industry and bolster Tajikistan's drive to expand its industrial output and solidify its standing in the global textile arena.
