Rufat Kudratov appointed head of Uzbekneftegaz unit

Rufat Kudratov has been named the new head of the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department, a division of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, as announced by the company.

Prior to this appointment, Kudratov held the position of Director General at Uzneftgazquduqta'mirlash JSC.

The Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department stands as a vital entity within the Uzbekneftegaz framework. Its operational sites are primarily situated in the Kashkadarya, Bukhara, and Navoi regions. The department's primary functions involve extracting crude oil, natural gas, and gas condensate.

Currently, the department manages 35 oil and gas fields, encompassing a total area of 2,161 hectares. This includes 18 fields in the Kashkadarya Region and 17 in the Bukhara Region. Four new fields commenced operations in 2025.

Its infrastructure comprises 676 oil and gas production wells, 20 compressor stations, five gas treatment plants, 42 preliminary gas treatment units, and 204 metering units.

Additionally, the company oversees more than 1,780 pressure vessels, over 570 pumping units, and seven chemical laboratories.

The department's daily production averages 164 tonnes of crude oil, 23.445 million cubic metres of natural gas, and 520 tonnes of gas condensate, according to the company. This output is transported via an interfield pipeline network to the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant and the Bukhara Oil Refinery.

As of February 1, 2026, the department's workforce numbered approximately 3,637 individuals.

In 2025, the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department yielded 9.883 billion cubic metres of natural gas, 194,656 tonnes of gas condensate, and 62,121 tonnes of crude oil.

Throughout that year, the company implemented 92 geological and technical initiatives, which, according to Uzbekneftegaz, resulted in an additional 679.7 million cubic metres of natural gas. Nineteen new wells were brought online through drilling, and an additional 42 wells were reactivated after undergoing major repairs.

The company also surpassed its targets for electricity and fuel gas conservation and continued to upgrade its production infrastructure.
