A tourist who was injured after falling down a mountain slope on the Kamchik Pass has been evacuated by rescuers and transferred to an emergency medical team.

Emergency services reported that the Kamchik Pass rescue post received notification of the incident near the Tien Shan cafe at approximately 12:10 p.m. on August 4, 2026. One of three tourists slipped and fell down a slope while ascending a mountain, sustaining injuries.

Rescue personnel promptly arrived at the location and utilized climbing gear to bring the injured tourist to safety, subsequently transferring him to medical personnel.

Rescuers issued a reminder to the public to prioritize safety during mountain excursions, steer clear of dangerous slopes, and avoid taking unnecessary risks.
