Primary school teachers with B+ national certificate to receive 15% salary bonus
Primary school teachers in Uzbekistan who obtain a national teaching certificate at the B+ level or higher will receive a monthly salary supplement equal to 15% of their base pay starting from the 2026–2027 academic year, under a government resolution adopted on July 29.
A 15% salary bonus will be awarded to primary school teachers who achieve a B+ or higher national certificate, following the approval of Resolution No. 411. This resolution establishes the regulations for qualification examinations for national certification of primary school teachers and introduces a financial incentive for those who successfully complete the assessment.
Under the newly implemented regulations, primary education degree holders teaching primary school classes who attain a B+ or higher national certificate will be eligible for this additional payment. The bonus, sourced from the state budget, will apply to all subjects taught in the relevant language of instruction and will be disbursed for the entire duration of the certificate's validity.
The Knowledge and Qualifications Assessment Agency has been appointed to oversee the certification system. Prospective applicants are required to submit their applications electronically via the my.gov.uz portal.
A non-refundable examination fee, equivalent to 1.5 times the base calculating amount on the application date, must be paid by candidates.
The internationally recognized Rasch measurement model will be used to evaluate examination results. Certificates will be awarded based on the following score ranges: A+ for scores above 70 points, A for 65–69.9, B+ for 60–64.9, B for 55–59.9, C+ for 50–54.9, and C for 46–49.9.
The qualification examination will consist of a written test designed to evaluate applicants' proficiency in primary school subjects, teaching methodology, and pedagogical skills.
Teachers who successfully pass the examination will receive an electronic certificate with a QR code through the my.gov.uz portal within one working day. Candidates will also have a three-day window from the publication of results to appeal their scores.
