National Football Center to host AFC Elite Referees Seminar for West Region

The AFC Elite Referees Seminar (West Region) will take place at the National Football Center from August 3 to 7. This seminar is considered a cornerstone educational program for the Asian Football Confederation's top-tier match officials.
The event will bring together members of the AFC Referees Department, 92 elite Asian referees, experienced AFC instructors, and prominent experts in referee development.
Spanning five days, the seminar will include both theoretical and practical training. These sessions will cover contemporary refereeing benchmarks, analysis of match incidents, enhancing decision-making, on-field game management, physical conditioning, and the most recent guidelines for the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system.
Highlighting regional talent, Uzbek officials Valentin Kovalenko, a veteran instructor, and FIFA referee Ilgiz Tantashev, will also journey to Japan to participate in the East Region segment of the seminar.
