Mirziyoyev Approves Education Agreement with Türkiye
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved an intergovernmental agreement between Uzbekistan and Türkiye on cooperation in education.

Mirziyoyev Endorses Education Pact with Türkiye
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has given his approval to an educational cooperation agreement between the governments of Uzbekistan and Türkiye. The accord was originally signed in Ankara on January 29, 2026.
The President formalized his approval on August 1, issuing a decree in line with Article 22 of Uzbekistan's "Law on International Treaties."
The Ministry of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan has been designated as the primary entity responsible for the agreement's execution.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has received directives to inform Türkiye that Uzbekistan has completed the necessary internal processes for the agreement to become active. Additionally, it is to notify Türkiye of the agency appointed to oversee its implementation.
Upon the agreement's activation, the Cabinet of Ministers, along with pertinent ministries and departments, have been tasked with ensuring adherence to its stipulations.
