MIIT, Aviagen Discuss Poultry Investment Project
Uzbekistan's MIIT and Aviagen discussed progress on a poultry investment project and agreed to continue close cooperation on its implementation.

Uzbekistan's Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, Ilzat Kasimov, held discussions with Tjark Osterndorff, Director of Aviagen CA, regarding an ongoing investment project and future collaborative opportunities.
The meeting, which occurred on August 5th at the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade (MIIT), centered on the project's current status, accomplishments to date, and strategies for its continued advancement.
Both parties also addressed the project's progression into the implementation phase, deliberated on resolving present organizational challenges, and investigated avenues for expanding their partnership.
Subsequent to the talks, an agreement was reached to sustain systematic cooperation and maintain consistent working communication to guarantee the project's prompt and successful execution.
Aviagen is recognized globally as a leader in poultry genetics. The company focuses on the breeding, development, and provision of high-performing breeding stock for the poultry meat sector, encompassing broilers and turkeys.
Previously, it was announced that the U.S.-based Aviagen Broiler Breeding Group intends to invest $40 million in Uzbekistan to establish a contemporary poultry farming cluster.
