Japan Deports Two Uzbek Citizens for Visa Violations

Japan’s Immigration Services Agency deported two Uzbek citizens who illegally remained in the country after their visas expired, Uzbekistan’s embassy said.

The Immigration Services Agency of Japan has expelled two Uzbek nationals who were residing unlawfully within the country, as announced by the Embassy of Japan in Uzbekistan.

One of the individuals deported had initially entered Japan on a technical intern visa but remained in the country after its expiration, leading to their subsequent detention by authorities. The second person arrived in Japan on a short-term visa and similarly overstayed illegally beyond its validity period before being apprehended.

The embassy took the opportunity to remind citizens that severe penalties are enforced for instances of illegal residency
