Isuzu truck and Chevrolet Epica destroyed by fire After Kamchik Pass collision

A fiery collision on the Kamchik Pass left an Isuzu truck and a Chevrolet Epica sedan utterly consumed by flames.

The Road Safety Service reported that the incident took place on August 2, at approximately 8:20 AM, on the A-373 highway. An Isuzu truck, en route from Tashkent to the Fergana Valley, had pulled over to the shoulder at the 168-kilometer mark due to a mechanical issue.

Shortly thereafter, the driver of a Chevrolet Epica, traveling in the same direction, lost control and collided with the rear of the stationary truck. The force of the impact ignited a substantial fire that rapidly engulfed both vehicles. Videos captured by eyewitnesses, showing the intense blaze, have since been widely shared across social media platforms.

The two occupants of the Epica sustained minor injuries but were able to exit the vehicle moments before it became engulfed in flames. Emergency services promptly arrived at the scene to provide immediate first aid.
