International Welding School to Open in Namangan

Uzbekistan's Migration Agency signed an agreement with Slovakia's Welding Research Institute to establish an international welding school in Namangan.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – A new international welding school is set to launch in Namangan, following a practical cooperation agreement inked by Uzbekistan's Migration Agency and Slovakia's Welding Research Institute (VÚZ).

This initiative aims to establish a state-of-the-art international welding school, offering training aligned with global benchmarks. The curriculum will feature instruction from skilled professionals hailing from Slovakia and other European nations.

VÚZ, the project's partner, is a Slovak research institute specializing in welding, boasting a 75-year legacy in the field.

The institute holds the authority to issue international certifications for specialists, adhering to the standards set by both the International Institute of Welding (IIW) and the European Welding Federation (EWF).

As per the agreement, individuals who complete the school's program will qualify for international IIW/EWF certifications, opening doors to lucrative job prospects in developed countries.
