Natural Gas Returns to Bplastuz Following Ombudsman Intervention
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) –
Bplastuz LLC is once again receiving natural gas, thanks to an intervention by Uzbekistan's Business Ombudsman. The ombudsman's office had investigated claims that the company was facing imminent closure due to a cutoff in its gas supply.
The official statement indicated that the investigation was initiated after social media reports surfaced, alleging that the company's natural gas connection had been severed, pushing it to the brink of operational suspension. A meeting was subsequently convened, bringing together representatives from Bplastuz and the Hududgaz Poytaxt gas supply branch to assess the circumstances.
The situation has since been resolved, with natural gas service to the enterprise fully reinstated. The Business Ombudsman's office stated it would maintain oversight of the matter.
The agency underscored the importance of prioritizing continuous production, avoiding manufacturing interruptions, and supporting law-abiding entrepreneurs when state bodies implement enforcement actions against businesses.
Furthermore, the Business Ombudsman reaffirmed that unwarranted interference in legitimate business operations is impermissible, and safeguarding entrepreneurs' rights remains a core objective of the institution.
