Ferghana Region Discusses Water Infrastructure Projects

Ferghana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov recently convened a meeting with delegates from the Belarusian firm Formula of Water Group to deliberate on initiatives aimed at enhancing water supply infrastructure and ensuring residents have access to potable water.

Dmitry Zhuk, representing Formula of Water Group, and Bobur Aslanov, the company's representative in Uzbekistan, were present at the discussion. The agenda included an exploration of potential investment projects in the realms of water supply and treatment.

During the talks, the Belarusian company showcased its global expertise and a portfolio of completed projects. Formula of Water Group specializes in delivering end-to-end solutions for water supply and treatment, encompassing design, equipment production, construction, installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance.

A key outcome of the meeting was the discussion of initiating a pilot project in specific mahallas within the Kuva district, which currently face challenges with drinking water provision. Should this pilot prove successful, the effective strategies are slated for gradual rollout across other districts in the Ferghana Region.

Governor Bozorov expressed his commitment to offering full support for the execution of these promising ventures and directed relevant officials to foster strong collaboration with the investors.

Both parties also reached an agreement to sustain their cooperation and move forward with the practical execution of the proposed projects.
