Ferghana Opens Trade House in Afghan City Mazar-i-Sharif
Ferghana Region opened a trade house in Mazar-i-Sharif showcasing products from over 240 companies and provided medical aid to a local hospital.
Ferghana Establishes Trade Hub in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – A new Ferghana Trade House has commenced operations in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan, featuring goods from over 240 businesses located in Uzbekistan's Ferghana Region.
The primary objective of this new establishment is to boost the export of Uzbek goods into the Afghan market and to forge stronger direct commercial relationships between business owners in both regions.
The inauguration event was attended by Khayrullo Bozorov, the Khokim of Ferghana Region, along with official delegates from both regions and prominent business figures.
During his address at the ceremony, Bozorov highlighted the ongoing growth of trade and economic ties between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan. He characterized the launch of the trade house as a tangible move towards enhancing collaboration between the business sectors of the two nations. Bozorov also extended his appreciation to Kamal Nabizada Ltd for their support in setting up the facility.
The trade house is expected to play a crucial role in promoting products from Ferghana-based companies within the Afghan market, thereby increasing exports and cultivating direct cooperative relationships.
Personnel from Ferghana Region will be stationed at the facility permanently to process orders from Afghan collaborators and to facilitate export agreements.
Attendees of the ceremony were given a tour of the trade house and had the opportunity to view the products on display.
In conjunction with the visit, Ferghana Region also provided humanitarian assistance, including state-of-the-art medical equipment, to the Abu Ali ibn Sino Balkhiy Hospital in Mazar-i-Sharif.
