Dubai Airport offers 80 hospitality jobs to Uzbek workers

Dubai International Airport is extending an invitation to Uzbek nationals for 80 hospitality roles within its business and first-class passenger lounges. The Uzbekistan Migration Agency announced that those hired will earn a monthly salary of AED 8,226 ($2,250).

Prospective candidates must be between 20 and 30 years of age and demonstrate at least a B2 level of English proficiency. Preference will be given to applicants possessing internationally recognized language certifications such as IELTS or TOEFL.

Further requirements include relevant qualifications in hotel and restaurant services and a minimum of one year's experience in food and beverage service. Applicants should also be knowledgeable and skilled in preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as hot and cold drinks.

Successful applicants will be offered two-year employment contracts, with an eight-hour workday and the aforementioned monthly salary of AED 8,226 ($2,250).

The employer will cover several expenses, including the work visa, the flight ticket from Uzbekistan to the UAE, airport transfers, work permit processing, and medical insurance. Additionally, accommodation, meals, and transportation between the living quarters and the workplace will be provided. Employees will not have income tax deducted from their salaries.

Applications will be accepted until August 13. The employer anticipates reviewing submitted documents within three to seven days. Candidates who fulfill the criteria will proceed to the next phase of recruitment, which involves online interviews scheduled between August 20 and 25.
