Cannabis and cocaine worth €1.95m seized in Dublin

Dublin authorities have confiscated cannabis and cocaine with an estimated street value of €1.95 million.

The seizure, which included approximately 80.5 kilograms of cannabis and 5 kilograms of cocaine, occurred during an operation at Dublin Port on Sunday. In addition to the drugs, nearly €144,000 in cash was also recovered.

Following the operation, a man and a woman, both in their 30s, were taken into custody. They have since been charged in connection with the investigation and appeared before Dublin District Court on Tuesday.
