Bakhtiyor Saidov, Sergio Gor Discuss Uzbekistan–US Relations

Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a meeting with US Special Envoy for South and Central Asia, Ambassador Sergio Gor, in New Delhi on August 4, 2026, to discuss Uzbekistan-US relations.
Both officials acknowledged the progression of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States and explored future directions for their bilateral engagement.
During their discussion, Saidov and Gor assessed the increased frequency of high-level and top-level dialogues, and identified key areas for collaboration between the two nations.
Furthermore, the two envoys addressed cooperation within the C5+1 framework, planning for upcoming joint activities, and pressing regional and global matters.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to sustain transparent and confident communication, and to broaden practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States.
