Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Matyakub Matchanov has denied online reports of his death. The actor recorded a video message to his fans, stating that he is alive and continues his career.

Matchanov said that rumors of his alleged death had been circulating on social media recently. The artist noted that he had not initially intended to comment on these reports, but decided to address viewers after numerous requests from his students and fans.

"Thank God, I am alive and well," Matchanov said, expressing gratitude to everyone who supports his work.

The actor also stated that he continues to work and plans to present new projects to the public in the near future.

As a reminder, in 2025, Matyakub Matchanov was brought to administrative responsibility for insulting an acquaintance. The Chilanzar District Court of Tashkent found him guilty and fined him. According to the court, the incident occurred in the Cinematography Agency building following a conflict between the actor and a citizen who was denied access to the event.
