Actor Abdumanon Ubaydullayev passed away

Actor Abdumannon Ubaydullayev has passed away.

Honored youth coach of Uzbekistan, candidate of arts, professor, famous film actor, director and teacher Abdumannon Ubaydullayev has died at the age of 86.

The Cinematography Agency expressed its deep sympathy and condolences to the family members, relatives, students, as well as the film and art community of the deceased.

Abdumannon Ubaydullayev is well known to viewers for his many roles in Uzbek cinema. He became widely known for his role in the film "Vatan" by film director Zulfiqar Musokov, and later played roles in such feature films as "Omad", "Songgi lahza", "Hijron", "Nazar", "Yigit yig‘lamasin", "Aldangan kon‘ngil", "Mehr" and a number of national television series.

The creator worked not only as an actor and director, but also as a teacher. In recent years, he has been teaching students at the Department of Sound Direction and Cinematography of the Uzbek State Institute of Arts and Culture.

For your information, in an interview published by "Kun.uz" in 2023 with Abdumannon Ubaydullayev, it was noted that the creator would have turned 83 that year. In the interview, he said that he played his first film role in Zulfiqar Musokov's film "Vatan" (Homeland), filmed in 2006, at the age of 66, and before that, he worked as a director, researcher and teacher for many years.
