A supercomputer based on NVIDIA technology has been launched in Uzbekistan.

A supercomputer using NVIDIA technology has become operational in Uzbekistan.

In July of this year, a supercomputer developed using technology from the American company NVIDIA was launched at the Digital Government data center. Based on its performance characteristics, it ranked 321st in the world. In just one month, cluster utilization reached 90%.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was briefed on the results achieved and key tasks for developing the artificial intelligence ecosystem.

The country currently has a computing infrastructure in operation, with a total cost of $24 million. An additional $70 million has been proposed for expansion of the existing computing cluster.

The head of state was also provided with information on funding sources, delivery dates for the necessary equipment, and data center projects in Karakalpakstan, implemented jointly with foreign investors.

The President instructed an inventory of the data available to ministries and agencies, ensuring its completeness, reliability, and mutual integration, as well as the creation of high-quality datasets by industry.

This year, the number of artificial intelligence projects in the economic and social spheres is planned to increase to over 100. These developments will cover key sectors such as healthcare, energy, transport, customs, legal services, public safety, ecology, and geology.

To achieve these goals, systematic collaboration with IT Park residents, startups, and more than 20 artificial intelligence laboratories is essential. The number of specialized residents is expected to increase to 300, the volume of services provided will reach 2 trillion soums, and exports will total $160 million.
