It is proposed to exempt from customs duties the import of vehicles, equipment and supplies used in active tourism from January 1, 2027 to January 1, 2030.
The Tourism Committee has submitted a draft resolution aimed at developing active tourism for public discussion.
According to this draft, it is proposed to exempt from customs duties the import of cars, equipment and supplies used in the field of active tourism from January 1, 2027 to January 1, 2030.
The list of products exempted from customs duties includes about 40 types of vehicles. These include quadricycles, off-road vehicles such as UTV, SSV and buggies, off-road vehicles, campers, hydrocycles, as well as parachutes, paragliders, hang gliders, aeronautical devices, mountain and mountaineering equipment, water tourism equipment, portable radios and other similar devices.
In order to ensure passenger safety, a special procedure will be introduced for the movement of buses and minibuses in the mountainous regions of the republic, in particular, in the Charvak, Zamin and Kamchik passes. In addition, in collaboration with the Insurance Market Development Agency, a proposal based on foreign experience will be developed for insuring active tourism services.
