Ádám Szentpéteri Appointed Chairman of the Management Board of Ipoteka bank OTP Group
Effective 27 July, Ádám Szentpéteri has been appointed Chairman of the Management Board of Ipoteka bank OTP Group. Following his tenure as Acting Chairman of the Management Board since 3 June, he has now been confirmed in the role.
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – Ádám Szentpéteri has been officially named Chairman of the Management Board for Ipoteka bank OTP Group, effective July 27. This appointment follows his interim leadership as Acting Chairman, a role he held since June 3.
In his new capacity, Szentpéteri will prioritize the implementation of the Bank's strategic objectives and work to enhance the efficiency of its business operations. His confirmation ensures the continuation of Ipoteka bank OTP Group's strategic path, maintains the strong momentum of its ongoing transformation, and supports the further strengthening of its market standing.

Szentpéteri initially joined Ipoteka bank OTP Group in July 2023 as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and Head of Strategy and Finance. Since September 2023, he has been at the helm of the Bank's transformation program.
His career with OTP Group began in 2005 as a macroeconomic analyst. Over the years, he advanced through various leadership roles spanning retail banking, controlling, and strategy. From 2012 to 2018, he served on the Supervisory Board of OTP Bank Ukraine, and from 2018 to 2022, he was a member of the Board of Directors for OTP Bank Russia. Prior to his current role, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Board of Directors at OTP Bank Albania from August 2022 to June 2023.

Earlier this year, Ipoteka bank OTP Group reported its IFRS financial results for the first quarter of 2026, achieving a record net profit of UZS 579.2 billion (USD 47.7 million). This figure represents a 32.9% increase year-on-year, highlighting the Bank’s consistent performance and the continued success of its transformation program.
